UPS
(Uninterruptible Power Supplies)

UPS
also called No-Break power supplies are used to protect vital electrical
equipment from mains failures. Under normal operations,
the UPS acts as a filter to eliminate transients from the mains supply
and provide clean power to the load. In case of mains failure, the UPS
will automatically continue to deliver power from the internal
batteries, without any changes over delay. Parallel
operation is possible in order to increase load capacity. Serial
operation is possible in order to obtain 36 or 48 VDC output. The
UPS is very suitable to supply alarms, signal systems, radio links,
wireless stations, P.A. systems, telephone exchanges, control panels,
any process control, and emergency lighting ect. Early
warning signal is standard. |
